One Box Book & Bar

This bar is a special collaboration with our friends, writer Andi Vicente and illustrator Allan Matudio, to celebrate the launch of their new book, One Box (published by Ferwood Publishing), a children’s counting story about a migrant worker sending a box of gifts and supplies to their loved ones in the Philippines. Also known as “Balikbayan box” (Return home), these boxes are typically filled with various supplies like canned goods, clothing and snacks. But in One Box there’s more than just stuff — it’s full of promises.

This white chocolate is inspired by Turon: a popular Filipino sweet made of banana, caramelized sugar, crispy rice wrapper, and jackfruit.
