Frequently asked questions
What does goat milk chocolate taste like?
Creamier and slightly tangier than regular milk chocolate — the goat’s milk adds a gentle, almost cheesecake-like note that plays beautifully against the fruity Davao cacao. Skeptics tend to become converts on the first square.
Is goat milk chocolate easier on people with cow-milk sensitivity?
Some people who find cow’s milk hard to digest tolerate goat’s milk better, though it still contains lactose and milk proteins — if you have an allergy, this bar isn’t dairy-free. For a milk-free option, try our vegan Strawberry White.
Where do the ingredients come from?
The Trinitario cacao is grown in Davao, Philippines; the goat’s milk comes from Happy Days Dairy in BC’s Shuswap. Two origins, one very Canadian-Filipino bar — made bean-to-bar at our Granville Island workshop in Vancouver.
