Last year, the music & arts community lost an integral member of the family – Eric “DJ Wundrkut” Cardeno. Wundrkut was well loved and known in the Hip Hop and DJ/Turntablist/Skratcher circles for his contributions to the community and teaching the next generation of DJs through Table Tutors Academy which he co-founded. This special Sweet Kuts bar is a chocolate mixtape dedicated to Wundrkut. Like a true DJ/Tablist/Skratcher, we mixed some of our favourite Philippine cacao origins: Davao, Isabela, Batangas & Zamboanga Del Sur – into one chocolate bar. Minimally refined, the chocolate is rugged & rough with juicy, crunchy bits of cacao mixed with crispy cane sugar crystals – our take on Cioccolata Modicana – an Italian (Sicilian) style of chocolate with texture and aromatic flavor.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this bar will be donated to the Wundrkut Forever Society, a non-profit organization that makes DJing accessible for underprivileged youth and marginalized communities.
