70% Semuliki Forest


This chocolate is made from cacao beans grown in Uganda’s Semuliki forest, just north of the towering Rwenzori Mountains where the Nile River has its source. The beans are fermented for 5.5 – 6.5 days, and sun-dried on raised racks for 6-7 days producing a wonderfully fruity aroma with notes of tangerine, custard, and wildflower honey.
