Description
For this special batch of chocolate, we aged our Ugandan cacao beans in an oak cask for 4 weeks with Odd Society Distillery’s Wallflower Gin, then stone ground them with juniper berries.
As the chocolate melts on your tongue, imagine yourself at a quaint cocktail party in the middle of a botanical garden. Breathe in deeply, and let the flavours unfold, like an elegant floral bouquet, with aromas of fresh cut evergreens, and hints of orange blossom.
A Vancouver collaboration in a bar
Wallflower Gin is made by Odd Society Distillery here in Vancouver. For this bar we take our Ugandan cacao from Kisinga — the same beans behind our 70% Kisinga — age it in an oak cask with the gin for four weeks, then stone grind it with juniper berries to echo the gin’s botanicals. Wallflower Gin first medalled at the International Chocolate Awards back in 2019.
